Chocolate, leg waxes, DJs and an MP!
Oh boy it was big! We were one of the smaller call centres to take part, but we had a fantastic night, handling over 6,500 calls and collecting nearly £140,000 in donations. One caller made a donation of £10,000 and we took a call from a Mum who had cancelled her Mothers Day lunch and asked her family to donate instead she gave £120. We also took lots of calls from children donating their pocket money.
We ate lots of chocolate, leg-waxed our boss, played games, won prizes in a raffle and welcomed our MP and DJs from our local radio station to join in the fun. Roll on 2009!
