National Grid - Northampton and Hinckley
A 'jelly' good night!

The atmosphere was electric at National Grid’s Northampton and Hinckley call centres where a total of 358 volunteers had gathered in preparation for the phones to start ringing for Comic Relief. National Grid set aside 90 lines at both sites to take calls and as the first calls came in, loud cheers filled the room as the first donations were made. Over 7000 calls were received across both sites, raising a fantastic £211,201.00.
Natalie Jacobs raised over £1200 for Comic Relief by volunteering to sit in a bath of jelly for the entire show, Natalie is pictured with Hinckley’s Mayor and Festival Queen who also supported the evening at National Grid.
