Babies, Bingo and Baking for The Big One!
250 volunteers from npower contact centres across the North East gave up their Friday night on 16th March to help run the Red Nose Day 2007 donation line. A staggering 4,615 calls and £160,000 worth of donations were taken by npower call centres during the Red Nose Day extravaganza.
Earlier that day, npower volunteers got into the Comic Relief spirit by dressing up in red bad taste outfits for the day. Employees also hosted a plethora of their own fundraising activities including a raffle and a 'Guess the Baby Photo' contest as well as battling it out in a Comic Relief themed cake baking competition and a stand up bingo competition. What fun!
